From 1 April to 30 September 2026, consumers will see two types of beverage containers in stores:
- Containers with the deposit mark, which require a 10‑cent deposit; and
- Containers without the deposit mark, which require no deposit
This prevents waste and gives the industry adequate time to fully transition to new labelled containers.
Starting 1 October 2026, all regulated beverage products sold in Singapore must carry both the deposit mark and an identifying barcode.
You may proceed to submit your enquiry or feedback if it is not related to the scenarios above, such as deposit being charged for containers without the deposit mark.
